Donation collected in Dubai / ドバイで集まった募金について

先日ドバイでは４月２日と８日に２か所で大きなフリーマーケットが開かれました。　そこでは先日もお伝えしたように、国籍を問わない沢山の有志の方々が参加されたそうです。

その時の集まった売上額は二つとも合わせると合計で 約57,000 DHS （日本円で約１３０万円）にもなった様です。　そしてその売り上げは義援金として東日本大震災の被災者の方の為に日本に送られるそうです。

こちらのフリーマーケットでは日本でのそれに比べてかなりの安値で品物を売るため、こんなに沢山の売り上げをあげるには相当な量の品を揃え、それに値札を付けたりそれを運んだりと、参加なされた方々は大変な苦労をなされた事と思います。
だんだんと暑くなっているドバイの天気の中でとても暑い思いをして一日中外に立って働いた方もいた事でしょう。

ドバイ在住の日本人の一人として、そこまでやって義援金を集めて下さった方々に感謝したいと思います。

そして、塵も積もれば山となる。。。というように、その金額に関わらず、様々なイベントで集めた義援金も大きな励ましの力となって被災地の方の元に届く事を願います。

そして一番大切なのは　“被災地の方の為に何かをしたい”　という気持ちと被災地の方々への心配りだと思います。　それが薄れることなくこれからも細く長く。。。日本を応援していきたいと思います。

今回やっていただいたフリーマーケットの成功を聞き、私たちも勇気を頂きました。

2 fleamarkets were held in Dubai on the 2nd and 8th of April, and there were so many volunteers involved regardless of nationality, and the profit they had was more than 57,000 DHS in total...!

These profits were later sent (will be sent) as doation to Japan.

I think that the volunteers had to collect so many items to raise that much sales as those items were sold at a very low prices, and I think they had lots of work to arrange and carry them to the location.
In addition to that, I imagine that they had to stand all day long outside under the strong Dubai sun...


 I really would like to respect and appreciate all the people who were involved in such work. I was also encouraged by the news of these successful events which were held in Dubai.


I am hoping that however large or small, people's thoughts and donation from out side of Japan will be sent to the people in affected area to encourage them for the future rebuild.  And I really wish that those support from oversea will be long-lasting.
