千羽鶴の進捗状況 - The update of Japanese cranes

皆さま、お疲れ様です

４月４日、お手伝い頂ける方と集まり

千羽鶴を繋げる作業を行いました。

お仕事の合間を縫ってご参加いただいた皆さん、

本当にありがとうございました。

職業柄、鶴織り然り、

繋げる作業も皆で集まって出来る時間がなかなか無い中、

お陰さまで、だいぶんと完成に近づいて来ました。

やはり千羽鶴は色が揃ってるほうが綺麗だということで、

先ずは色分けの作業から

Thank you very much for whomever helped us make Origami Cranes

and to complete 'Senbazuru', the Japanese 1,000 Origami Oranes

which is usually made to make a wish for someone's wellness, success and their peace etc.

We will show you the pictures on how Senbazuru have been made..

First of all, we sorted Origami Cranes by collors..

この作業が思った以上に大変そうでした。

This work was harder than expected.



 黙々と鶴を並べ、そしてそれを繋げ続けること約４時間

かなり目立つ場所で作業していたため、

外国人の社員の皆さんからは応援の言葉を戴いたり、

これは何ですか？

一ついくらで売ってるのですか？という質問をされたり。

ひたすら私たちの作業は続き

一つ目が完成！

4 hours have passed since we started, and the people who passed by  
 asked us 'What are they?' , 'How much does it cost?' etc.
We certainly grabbed people's attention.

There were also staff who encouraged and helped us by folding more paper Cranes.!

And the first Senbazuru has been completed!



その後も不揃いな鶴を折りなおしたり手直ししつつ、もう一つ完成、

そして小さなサイズも完成！

We continued to work on another Senbazuru as well as the smaller one.

イベントを立ち上げてから約２週間で３つの千羽鶴が完成しました。

残りの、出来あがった鶴だけざっと数えても、後２つは作れる感じがします。

日本の現状を考えると気持ちが落ち込むばかり

間接的すぎる支援かもしれませんが、

せめてこの千羽鶴が日本の元気に繋がりますように。

We completed 3 Senbazuru in 2 weeks since we started this project.

And I think that we can make 2 more considering the numbers of Paper Cranes we have.

Even though the effort is in-direct and distant from Japan,

we are hoping that this Senbazuru will somehow cheer up poeple in Japan..
